Will Bannister ’22, a biochemistry major with a minor in One Health, combined rigorous training in science and service opportunities at Berry to carve out a career in developing policies and programs that benefit marginalized communities. He is attending Brown University to earn a dual degree Master of Public Health and Master of Public Affairs.
The Berry College commencement will be held hosted on Saturday, May 4, at Valhalla stadium. Berry will celebrate the graduation of 475 undergraduates beginning at 9 a.m., weather permitting. The gates open at 8 a.m. and earlier at 7:30 a.m. for those who need special assistance. A Berry College alumnus, Alexander W. Whitaker, who went on to serve in the Navy and eventually became a university president will be the speaker.
